Physiotherapy at our Richmond Clinic

At Perfect Balance Clinic, we assess and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions by looking closely at how joints, muscles, and movement patterns interact.

Our evidence-based physiotherapy treatments merge expert manual therapy with movement analysis and custom exercise programming. This ensures that whether your symptoms are acute or long-standing, your care is backed by a precise diagnosis and a tailored long-term strategy.

To bridge the gap between initial pain relief and full physical recovery, our patients benefit from on-site gym access, allowing for progressive, supervised strength and mobility training.

Sports Massage

Our sports therapy and sports massage services are rooted in functional anatomy and biomechanical recovery. We address musculoskeletal dysfunction by treating localised muscle fatigue, restricted ranges of motion, and tissue strain.

Whether your condition is an acute sports injury or a cumulative repetitive strain from a sedentary workspace, our clinicians focus on restoring structural integrity and movement efficiency.

This evidence-based care is tailored to both active individuals requiring performance maintenance and those seeking to resolve chronic tension due to posture.

Super accessible

Super accessible

You’ll find us just a short walk from Richmond, Kew Gardens and North Sheen stations, with parking nearby and great public transport links.

What we offer

All sessions are tailored to your goals, whether that’s getting out of pain or getting back on track.

What to expect

From your very first session, you’ll be in expert hands. We don’t
do cookie-cutter treatments. We listen, assess, and create a
plan that works for you, with hands-on therapy, real
accountability, and full-body results that last.
Conditions we can help you with:

Arm pain

If you’ve noticed a dull ache, weakness, or limited motion in your arm, your body might be compensating for a strain elsewhere. Daily habits like typing at a laptop, heavy lifting at the gym, or poor posture can overload your muscles over time. We look beyond the surface ache to analyse how your neck, shoulder, elbow, and wrist are moving as a unit. By treating the true source of the irritation, we provide a clear path away from arm pain.

Back and spine pain

Don’t let back pain dictate how you live, sleep, or move. Whether you are dealing with everyday muscle tension and poor posture, or more complex issues like disc irritation and sciatica, our team is here to help. We get to the heart of why your symptoms started, giving you a clear explanation and a structured plan to fix it, and how to keep your spine healthy for the long term.

Foot and ankle pain

When walking or running becomes painful, your independence can take a hit. Whether you are struggling with plantar fasciitis, an Achilles ache, or a sudden ankle injury, our goal is to get you moving normally again. We blend hands-on treatments with specialised gait and movement analysis to figure out exactly what your body needs to heal.

Hip pain

Chronic discomfort, restriction, or weakness in the hip can be accelerated by repetitive training, poor posture, or structural changes. Our clinical approach focuses on analysing the relationships between the hip joint, pelvis, and spine to pinpoint the precise driver of your symptoms. We then implement an evidence-based rehabilitation plan aimed at restoring control, joint mobility, and muscular strength, while preventing the recurrence of hip pain in the future.

Knee pain

Effective management of knee pain requires a thorough evaluation of joint movement and functional capacity. Persistent discomfort is often aggravated by poor biomechanical alignment and inadequate shock absorption during exercise. Our experts focus on analysing your unique loading patterns to alleviate tissue irritation and optimise stability. This rehabilitation framework helps to restore range of motion in the knee, and safeguards it against future strain effectively.

Shoulder pain

Your shoulders are central to almost every movement you make, so when pain or stiffness takes over, daily life can feel like a battle. Regardless of what type of shoulder pain you have, you don't have to push through it alone. Our specialist team works closely with you to analyse your upper-body mechanics, treat the true source of your irritation, and rebuild your physical confidence with a personalised recovery plan.

Sports injuries

Sports injuries rarely happen in just one isolated spot. To truly fix the problem, we have to look at how your whole body moves, how hard you train, and how well you rest. Whether you have a sudden muscle pull, long-term tendon pain, or issues with your running posture, our team finds the real movement faults causing the pain. This proven approach heals your entire body, getting you back to your sport safely with more resilience than before.

Overall health diagnostics and strengthening

Not all physical symptoms stem from a single, obvious injury. Ongoing fatigue, recurring discomfort, a drop in performance, or repeated injuries can be signs that your body is struggling to keep up with the demands of training, work, and recovery. Our multidisciplinary team takes a comprehensive, full-body approach to care. By combining detailed clinical assessments, tailored rehabilitation, progressive strength training, and specialist services, we help you to build physical resilience, improve movement, and secure your long-term physical health.
